Aging and Disability Resource Center

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is a trusted source of information for people of all ages, abilities and income levels – and their caregivers – to obtain assistance in planning for their future long-term service and support needs. The ADRC is designed to empower older adults and persons with disabilities to make informed choices about their services and supports.

Assistive Technology for Kansans (ATK)

ATK is a Kansas statewide assistive technology program to help improve access to acquisition of assistive technology (AT) for individuals with disabilities and health conditions of all ages. Services include device demonstration, short-term equipment loan, AT reuse, and determination of funding eligibility for new and used devices.

iCanConnect – Kansas Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Project

Kansans with a combined hearing and vision loss can receive telecommunications tools and training to use them through iCanConnect.

Kansas Telecommunications Access Program (KS TAP)

The Kansas Telecommunications Access Program is an equipment distribution program providing specialized telephones and other telecommunications devices to Kansans with disabilities who can’t use traditional home telephones.

Blinded Veterans Association of the Heartland

Regional group of the Blinded Veterans Association serving blinded veterans residing in Kansas and Missouri. Works to ensure visually impaired veterans possess a peer support network and quality healthcare services at local Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers.
